Nursery Admissions
The school’s policy on nursery admissions follows Bolton Council’s guidelines. Pupils are offered places in the nursery for the September depending on their birthdays:
- For a place in Little Learners (our provision for two year olds), this will be after your child’s second birthday.
- For a place in the main Valley Community School (VCS) Nursery, this will be after your child’s third birthday.
Note: the academic school year that your child may be offered a place will be based on chronological order from September to August each year.
When considering applications, priority is given to children who require part-time (15 hours per week); morning or afternoon or full time places; although these is some scope for ‘jigsaw places’ such as 2.5 days. Please discuss the days and times you require with school staff.
